HOSTING IN TURIN
CARE IN HOSPITALITY
4. ORANGE FLAG VILLAGES
Among the many small villages in the area, we highlight those awarded the Orange Flag, a quality label for towns with fewer than 15,000 inhabitants that combine environmental care with tourist hospitality, good infrastructure and high-quality services. These are places where visitors can expect an excellent experience.
In the Langhe area of the province of Cuneo there are eight such villages: Bergolo (isolated and panoramic), Bene Vagienna (with a surprising Roman amphitheatre), Cherasco (famous for markets and snails), Neive, La Morra, Barolo, Grinzane Cavour, and Monforte d'Alba. Added to these are Guarene in the Roero, and Moncalvo, Ozzano Monferrato and Cocconato in the Asti Monferrato area.
